I bought this bed frame primarily because it was 18" off the floor allowing for storage and ease of getting into and out of bed. I was not disappointed. The assembly took less than an hour. I was expecting wood slats, however, the manufacturer must have made a design change and the slats are now metal. This is a great bed frame, easy to assemble, very stable and quiet, good value for the money. Just love it!!
