Michael Dennison, Tito Gobbi, Valentina Cortese, Dulcie Gray and Sebastian Shaw star in The Glass Mountain, a 1949 musical romance, directed by Henry Cass, about a married composer in extramarital love with an Italian woman who saved him from certain death in wartime. A British production with a combination of English and Italian dialogue, The Glass Mountain features several arias conducted by Franco Ferrara, with sequences shot at the Teatro la Fenice, and musical accompaniment by the Chorus and Orchestra of La Fenice.
