I bought a similar product for several years, but thought I would try these as the other one has gotten quite expensive, and I have a lot of them spread around our property. I believe this is the second time I have purchased these, but the first ones I received - only 2-3 worked for awhile. A couple quit after 2-3 days, but I figured for the price, I would still be ahead if only half of them continued working. Now almost all of them quit working after a few days, and that's if I can get them to work at all. Going back to the competitor because they last about 3 years. The brand I bought for several years is about 3-4 times more expensive, but I can count on them - this brand I cannot. By the way, the concept of 2 fast flashing lights in my opinion is more effective than 1 flashing light - because at a distance it actually looks more like a fire, and it just seems to appear to be more of a deterrent, but they just don't keep working. I rely on them where we live. When they work, they are great, but they don't work very long, and you never know when they are going to quit working, which can allow a predator in where you don't want them. Work on the longevity and keep the two fast flashing lights and you could have a really great product!
