The pillowcases were generally OK but I was surprised that they were a striped solid, not just a plain fabric (that was not as described or photographed). Also, the queen size JUST fit our queen-sized pillows (not a generously-sized queen size; I am a bit concerned that they may shrink given that the washing instructions indicate cold wash). But the wine color is lovely and coordinates well with the intended duvet cover.
