The BV50 Series is the industry-standard for 50mm blow off valves (BOV), providing maximum protection for your turbocharged or supercharged vehicle. When your engine is under boost and your throttle suddenly closes (gear changes / braking), compressed air rapidly builds in the intake system which can rebound backwards through the compressor wheel, drastically reducing the spin of your turbo (or causing it to spin in reverse). This phenomenon, known as compressor surge, puts significant stress on your turbocharger that can cause premature wear and longer spool times.

The BV50 Series prevents compressor surge by quickly opening when your throttle closes, maintaining the turbocharger's rotational speed and ensuring lightning-fast boost response when resuming acceleration. Our oversized banjo bolt and quick-action diaphgragm futher reduce turbo lag and increase actuator response, restoring performance and extending the life of your forced-induction engine.
