this sand filter keeps my 15 ' x 48" pool clean. Keep the filter balls clean, vacuum it once a week and skim the top when needed and you're all set. KEEP a cover on the pool also. I do wish this filter had the skimmer basket. Next time I will order one with a basket. But for my first sand filter, it's AMAZING!!!!!!

I was upgrading to a larger sand filter because my other one quit. It's been installed for a few weeks now. I decided I didn't want to go with sand so instead I used the filter balls. Today I went out to clean the filter and put fresh filter balls in it. And I must say I'm very impressed with both the filter and the filter balls. My pool is crystal clear. But the water in the filter was a muddy brown color. And the filter balls were a bit dirty. So for the filter water to be so dirty and my pool so clean. I definitely give them both a 5 stars. I attached a picture so you can see the dirty water. I didn't snap a pic of the pool while I was outside or I'd add that too. I have one from a couple days ago that I'll add. It looks better today
