For Drop Cookies: 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, margarine or spread (Spread should have at least 60% vegetable oil). 1 Egg. Heat oven to 375 degrees F (or 350 degrees F for nonstick cookie sheet). 2 Stir 1 pouch cookie mix, melted butter and egg in medium bowl until well blended. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. 3. Bake 12 to 14 minutes, or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute before removing from sheet. Cool completely; store in airtight container. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Use 1/3 cup butter, margarine or spread (Spread should have at least 60% vegetable oil), melted, and 1 egg. For Cutout Cookies: 2 Tablespoons gold medal all-purpose flour. 1/3 cup butter margarine or spread (Spread should have at least 60% vegetable oil). 1 egg. 1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F (or 350 degrees F for nonstick cookie sheet). 2. Stir 1pouch cookie mix and all-purpose flour together. Add melted butter and egg in medium bowl until well blended. Roll dough on lightly floured surface until 1/4 inch thick. Cut with 2 1/2-inch cookie cutter and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. 3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute before removing from sheet. Cool completely; store in airtight container. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change. We purchased 5 boxes and made 550 cookies with them this weekend. The box says it makes 180/each, but we like thick sugar cookies so we didn't get quite that many. Love the consistency, easy to role out and cut into shapes. We'll use this again next year.
