P.I.E: Poetry In Emotion

P. I. E. - Poetry In Emotion is a book with years of poured out emotions that Carla has now chose to share with GOD's people and the world. These are poems that she has experienced personally and some were written for friends. She has survived various types of abuse, abandonment, rejection, and loss. This book reveals very intimate emotions that could only be express by writing it out poetically. When she is overwhelmed, having difficulty coping with, or comprehending things; she writes. These are expressions of faith, hope, love, struggles, distress, and pain; there were times that death should have had the victory; but the sovereignty of GOD's grace interceded. The LORD has taught her vigilance and resiliency through these experiences. Carla was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She and her husband Bill(Streetpreacher) have parented four thriving children and have eight very talented grandchildren. Carla and Streetpreacher's mission is to "go ye therefore and preach the gospel to all generations" and that's what they do. Carla is an active member of "Power House Christian Fellowship Church" under the tutelage of Pastor Mark Banks, Kenya Banks, and Pastor Charles Dickerson(Sermonte'). But her foundational roots of the gospel of JESUS CHRIST started at "Good Shepherd Baptist Church" with Pastor Eddie L. Hawkins. Thank you Pastor Hawkins for teaching me the gospel every Sunday and Wednesday without failure. This is Carla's first published book but she has been writing since she was a pre-teen and has several other books to be published.
