wrong parts or wrong instructions

i bought this for my son the instructions were hard to understand. when i got help from someone who could understand them i was informed i either had thr wrong parts or the wrong instructions. they found this out by finding the joint where the two bars of the legs came together. in the instructions the joint wasnt attached and had to be via nuts and bolts. the pieces i had had them already attached. i would include photos but i have already returned the item
