Heyya! It's All Ball Bearings Nowadays.

They're bearings. They seem to work great. As with most bearing removal and install it's highly recommended you have bearing removal and install tools - or you know, just use a hammer, screwdriver to remove and hammer/socket to install. Wham! ...but to really do it right, might I recommend attending the UTI and go through the Motorcycle Mechanics course, just to make sure you do it right.

Pivot Works front wheel bearing kit

I had some side to side play in my front wheel. These bearings went in super easy. Watch the rocky mountain install videos and it is a breeze. I froze the bearings in the freezer overnight and torched the hub quickly and they went right in. I've only had them in there for a week so I can't say much about the longevity. The play in the hub is gone.
