Perfect if you know what youre doing. Blue cancels channels of unwanted yellow, gold to barely brassy. Its not a bleach. It does HL all the way to 12 which is a level ten in most other shades. Its not platinum but is close. You make it platinum by adding two caps crabber violet or choose VIOLET-Blue. This is a Blue only base. Its true ash. If you leave too much gold and dont lift enough it will look slightly greenish until two washes and then reveal a pretty flaxen gold more wheat looking blond. If youre really last a 9.5 level light youre perfect result will be over-the bleached level 10 which will look punk redhead orange yellow=too gold that ugly color will make it shine when you replace the lens of blue hair color limiting it all to one channel of pale yellow through like a Miracle, the icky color is blocked. If your hair was stained with dark brown box color, youll need to keep bleaching the mid. Until that stain is lighter and grows out. Until then, adding one cap violet toner level crabber will make it milk white. Dont thank me, send me good thoughts!

I love the range of these colours and the easy blending of them to create the perfect look, whether they're mixed in the bowl or blended in an ombre on the hair. I mostly go for the ash tones to dull the brassy tendencies of my hair (especially after bleaching), and have tried ranges from 12AA down to 4A, and 10N to 7G. I use the 20 developer with this and with my thick porous hair I find it works perfectly with each colour. The gel will still drip if you're not careful but it's a great formula and really soaks into the hair for full coverage.
