Great value, would purchase again
The machine is a great value for the money. It is a pleasure to use, with smooth movements and solid construction. Two minor complaints: Setup: There was one step that required both ends of the supplied wrench to be used at the same time - one end to turn the nut and the other to hold the bolt on the other side - so I had to grab my own tool. Also, there was a page in the instructions that had the wrong picture. Usage: When the bench is in the full upright position, there isn't enough room to sit in the proper position - I am too far forward. I have to lean the bench back so I can scoot back far enough so that my knees are where they need to be. Also, the bar that holds the weight needs to be longer. You can max it out a bit too soon.

Extremely smooth and even resistance
Very smooth leg extension with even resistance throughout travel/arc of motion. 3:2 ratio means for 100lbs of loaded plates, you get about 66lbs of resistance. But the smooth cam and pulley make this superior to any non pulley/cam machine. The seat cushions are kind of cheap and thin, but something a person could easily modify. Not a deal breaker. I'm surprised they don't charge more for this leg extension/leg curl machine. Assembly was easy. Would buy again, no regrets!
