Flat wall needed, else mods needed for recess!!!
Make sure you are on a flat wall!!!!! We mounted in a recess and didn't think it through before installing. We had to take it down and build out a mount. After fixing that, we found out we could only open so far and then had to slide the tv out on the mounting rail, which was very easy to do. This then gave us full view of the tv and cleared our "build out" . Slight learning curve on remote use but love it now!!! It's perfect for our situation.
