These tacos ARE AWESOME!!! We have used steak and other times used pork tenderloin. about 1.5 pounds up to 2 pounds is perfect USE A SLOW COOKER!! Cook meat 2 hours with 3 cups of water and a stick of butter or margarine and some garlic salt. Then.... thoroughly stir seasoning into 1/4 cup water and add into the slow cooker along ;with a sliced green pepper, sliced onion and 2 sliced tomatos or rotel. BIG SLICES! 2 MORE HOURS. meat falls apart! you may have to help it a little with a knife. When ready to serve, get a small non stick fry pan good and hot (6 out of 10). Dip a tortilla into the broth in the slow cooker, soak it!, then throw it on the pan ,Sizzle!! Juice will soak into tortilla and dry up into it. then add your meat and veggies from the cooker. WARNING . the included pack of sauce is not for the light hearted! Delicious!! THIS METHOD WORKS GREAT. trust me ! you will never eat regular tacos again!! 😉

Great Birria flavors in this kit
This Birria kit is amazing! I have tried to recreate a local restaurant’s Birria tacos and have been unsuccessful with two different recipes. I recently found this kit and honestly I wasn’t very confident it would be good. I was very wrong. It’s really good. It rivals the flavors of the restaurant at a fraction of the price. I’ve even used it with pork loin and it was fabulous.
