Copy of a copy?

I admit to being a huge fan of the show and haven't seen the series since it originally aired in the 1980s. The DVD episodes aren't sharp at all as it's most likely recorded off of a VHS tape. I doubt any digital editing or clean-up was done. But it still fills its place in my DVD collection and I really enjoyed watching John Houseman play that character so well.
