America the Beautiful [Blu-ray] (Blu-Ray)

We are disappointed to find few AMERICAN patriotic songs on this program. We expected She's a Grand Old Flag, God Bless America, Yankee Doodle, Columbia the Gem of the Ocean, Stars and Stripes Forever, My Country 'Tis of Thee and perhaps the military hymns. What we got were a sprinkling of American songs with a selection in Italian from La Boheme, O Mio Bambino Claro, Che Gelida Manina, Adagio for Strings, and Clarinet Concerto in A, plus some religious tunes that are nice but have nothing to do with AMERICA - I'll Fly Away, Amazing Grace, etc. Visuals were as pleasant as any free calendar from the bank, but nothing to write home about. We will return it.
