Waste of money

We had sand and it was doing a great job cleaning the poo. We bought the filter balls thinking it could save money on our power bill. I called and talked to a very nice woman at Filterball Inc. She asked me the size of our pool, the hp etc and told me I needed 5 bags of mini balls. We have a 1.5 hp pump and it did not perform well with the filter balls. The balls did not remove the debris. Our pool was crystal clear with sand and we wound up with a green pool. We went back to sand and it's finally crystal clear again. Money down the drain. Live and learn.
