Easy and affordable update to your room

I received the Your Zone Room Darkening Juvi Panel Pairs in a pretty silver color. The panels are truly room darkening as very little light shines through the panel. These curtains are shiny and feel like satin. They are supposed to be machine washable but I would wash by hand. The material is wrinkled when removed from the packaging but an iron on low heat from the reverse side should work nicely. These curtains are reasonably priced so it is not a huge commitment. You could transform a room in seconds with very little investment. The material is worth the cost of the curtains. The Your Zone advertises these curtains as being for a child's room and dorm rooms. I see no reason why they are limited to a certain audience since they would work in any room. You can hang two or more panels on a standard or decorative rod. The rod pocket measures 2 inches but a 1 inch rod would allow more movement of the material. There is a 1.5 inch header that gathers nicely. You have to work at getting them spaced evenly which could be frustrating when opening and closing the curtains often. Each rod pocket panel measures 30 inches wide in your choice of 63, 84, or 95 inches long. They are sold as a pair. They are made of Easy Care, machine washable 100% Polyester.

Not solid darkness but great

The Your Zone room darkening panels are great. I was very impressed with the amount of light they did block. The color I had chosen was the light silver and with no blind and a bright sunny day they really constricted and stopped a lot of the light in my living room. Normally my choice is a black for total darkness for sleeping. For a room that you do not want a bright atmosphere, these are perfect. Very soft but tasteful. Beautiful.

Just as described and expected

The Your Zone Room Darkening Juvi Panel Pairs comes with 2 window panels that are 30 inches wide by 84 inches long. I got the solid Silver color with no patterns. I found the color to be accurate to its name, but it is a rather dark silver. The fabric is 100% Polyester and it is made in China. It has a rod pocket, but not the metal rings. I personally wished it had the metal rings since it is easier to slide the curtains to open or close them. According to the packaging these curtains help with temperature & light control. I honestly did not feel that it helped with the temperature, but it did darken the room. The room is dark, but not in complete blackout. If you want to get complete darkness during daylight form the curtains, these are not what you want. The material is not sheer, but it is not very thick either. The material has a little bit of shine to it, almost like satin. It was hard to take it off the packaging, and you might want to iron them or steam them since they ahold the folds from packaging. I have had them up for about 2 weeks and they still have the folds from the packaging. I do like them, and for the price they are a great deal.
