Michelin LTX A/T2 Tire

New trails are waiting to be explored with the Michelin LTX A/T2 all-season tire. Designed for year-round traction and durability for work and play, this all-terrain 4x4 tire ensures a quiet, comfortable ride on highways and unpaved roads without compromising performance.

This durable tire features a tread pattern that bites into any surface for optimized traction and tough off-road endurance capability, delivering longer life when driving on gravel.[1] Engineered to reduce vibration and noise disturbance, this Michelin 4x4 tire ensures a quiet, comfortable ride. The Michelin LTX A/T2 tire features Michelin Biting Edges technology with notched blocks in the tread pattern to deliver excellent traction on unpaved surfaces. With 35% longer life on gravel than two leading competitors.[1]

The Michelin LTX A/T2 tire delivers all-terrain endurance on vehicles like the Toyota Tundra, Ford F-Series, Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra and Ram Trucks. And because performance and safety matter to you, Michelin makes tires to last and backs the Michelin LTX A/T2 tire up to 60,000 miles with a treadwear limited warranty,[2] in addition to the 6-year standard limited warranty.[3]

1. Based on the results of a 2010 Michelin internal gravel endurance study on a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD versus Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 and Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor tires on LT 265/70R17. Actual on-off road results may vary.

2. 60,000-mile manufacturer's treadwear limited warranty: R-, T-, S-rated.

3.All Michelin tires have a standard manufacturer's limited warranty which covers defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the original usable tread, or for six (6) years from date of purchase, whichever occurs first.

A/T 2 Tires review

I have always liked Michelin tires for their longevity and handling on our trucks. I find these tires outlast the competition and give a greater performance out in the field. Overall I highly recommend these tires.

A Tire That Works!

I've had these tires on my F350 truck since new in 2019. I only use the Michelin AT2 in the summer. All my driving is on pavement and occasionally tow my 36 Ft RV. The Michelin AT2 grip the pavement extremely well on the roads in the interior of B.C. Best of all they offer a very smooth and quiet ride. I highly recommend these tires for any 1 Ton Truck. Thanks Michelin!!

A-1-1! The best tire going!

Bought these tires in November 2012 for my 2007 Honda Ridgeline. Removed the original set of LTX A/T2 tires with about 100,000 km on them. Could have waited, because they still had over 25% tread left on them, but was able to get a discount from a tire shop affiliated with my Employer. This second set of tires have seen every type of terrain, including pavement, gravel, rock trails, dirt trails, decommissioned logging roads, etc.. My only complaint has been cracks in the sidewalls. I heard, unofficially, that there were a huge batch of these tires that had that defect, but it never appeared to be severe, and never seemed to effect the performance of my tires. I still was able to carry infrequent 1500+ pound loads in my Ridgeline. I also carried my motorcycle(s) for many miles in the box without incidence. After over 12 years, the cracking is becoming more pronounced and one tire leaks, but I'm unsure if it is a nail or a sidewall leak, so I just refill it every couple months. Am getting ready to replace these tires with more of the same. I've only rotated this set twice, and they still have 20% left in the rear and 25% in the front/drive wheels now. If I take them down to the "wear bars" I'm predicting I'll have 150,000 km's on them! If a person's vigilant about tire rotation and pressure, they could see 170,000 km/set! These tires are like "cheating" in the winters encountered in northern Canada, where I live. Off road and gravel roads are also surprising to me, because these tires grip so well, then go on to silently cruise the highways quietly, with excellent grip, smoothness and all other considerations. Though they are priced higher than many "store brands", their cost is lower when you consider the attainable mileage, quality and functionality. They are wickedly good tires. I also save money in tire changes and servicing. Again, I intend to put on my third set of the same tires! Michelin rocks.
