Better Homes and Garden 2" Faux Wood Cordless Window Blind, Oak, 30" W x 64" L

Really like the blinds once up. Once hubby got one up, they rest went up really easy. Only issue is they way they were shipped. Ordered 8 blinds, each was shipped individually instead of in a big box. As a rest, the boxes got beat up. Had to return 2 blinds because they were damaged. Trying to find 2 more to replace the damaged ones.

They are definitely an upgrade from my vinyl mini blinds I have had in my breakfast room for 100 years ! Seriously , these are really nice looking , the slats are thick , the ones I ordered have an oak color with a wood grain look to them which looks really nice especially because I have a barnwood looking hard wood floor. The blinds actually block out the sun quite a bit in the summer , saves when you have Central air running and in the winter they help keep the cold air out so you can save on heating costs. I can feel the difference if they are open and when I close them when very cold out. So much different than the old vinyls , these are cordless which means all you have to do is push from the bottom and they go up or pull and they come down, this is a great safety precaution for anyone with small children. There is still a wand that you control the slats with the same way as with any blinds , I like the 2" slats so much better than the 1" and the oak look is just great. They were easy to put up , everything is included in the box that you need except a screwdriver. They have a nice looking valance to cover the brackets which is nice. I had ordered 4 of them and all were excellent and I have had compliments on them. I liked them so much I just ordered 2 more for my dining room same exact ones , I received them today and will get them put up tomorrow. I would recommend these BHG Faux wood Blinds to anyone looking for a change and they are quality made I think they are made in the USA.
