Scoop Women's Plus Tailored Linen Blend Wide Leg Pants, 32" Inseam, Sizes 14W-28W

I've been a fan of scoop ever since he opened his store on soho years ago (no longer opened). What a great value for this quality of linen. I ordered a similar pair from banana republic store for $100. I'm 5'2 and 140lbs and sometimes it's hard to find a pair of good quality pants to fit me. Top quality linen, price is great and the fit is perfect. When ordering, I do order several different sizes to see which fits better. At this point I'll rather get the right size one time and pay for shipping to send the other items back.

I haven't worn these yet, but here are my thoughts after trying them on. I am a 5'7", 222 lbs, size 18, and an apple-shaped body. I work with elementary students and their behaviors. I was looking for something a bit more structured that could allow me to move freely. They fit comfortably, but a little snug around the waist. When seated, the bottom of the zipper pooches up and needs readjusting in the crotch area. I must say that I don't usually wear clothing that is this structured, so it may be me needing to adjust to the fit. They are very long. I will need to hem them as I don't wear heels at work. I am a person with sensitive skin, and for me, they're a little rough but I believe I can get used to it if they are cool because I tend to overheat. The quality for the price is wonderful, making it easier for me to make a more stylish choice for work. I will update after I have worn them if there are any issues.
