de Havilland DH.82A Tiger Moth (1:72) History of Flight Model by Oxford DiecastItem Number: 72TM001Oxford Models introduces its new line 'History of Flight,' a premium line of 1/72 scale, die cast airplane models with features and details comparable to the most high-end brands. The first two releases ' de Havilland's Dragon Rapide (Britain's most successful short-haul airliner of the 1930s) and Tiger Moth (the RAF's primary trainer of the 1930s and '40s) ' are indicative of the groundbreaking aircraft for which the History of Flight line will be known. Each features simulated fabric-covered surfaces, rigged wings, realistic landing gear, a rotating propeller (or two!), authentic markings, and a customized display stand, too. Additional tooling is also in development, and additional paint schemes of each airplane type will be created in the future.
