Used this pump for my Air Conditioner unit sump on my boat. It was quick and easy to install. I had electric and a discharge hose in the area. Previously I had a shower box installed in that sump. I filled the sump up after install and turned on the pump and it quickly discharged the sump basin. Great price at Wal-Mart and would buy it again if I needed another compact pump
