I purchased this chair in faux lamb wool and it looks exactly as pictured. It's small enough to fit anyway but designed for comfort. It seems that the cushion is firm enough to stand up to regular use. The seat arrived in a thick steady box but with no foam to protect it during shipment so I was concerned that the large puncture in the box may have caused damage to the seat but fortunately it was not damaged. The assembly was tricky as the bolts wouldn't align properly so I had to hone out larger holes with a drill bit to get the bolts to line up with the treaded holes of the 4 support panels. Each support panel requires 4 bolts with a standard washer and a lock washer so it's sturdy when it's assembled. There are 2 screw-on plastic foot pegs for each of the 4 support panels that can be adjusted in case you need to level it with the floor. Love this seat for my bedroom. Very pleased with my purchase.
