Deja Vu

The Good: Eleven stories spanning the history of the Dresden Files books. The Bad: Seven of those stories have appeared in other anthologies so dedicated Dresden fans may be disappointed in a book that they've already read 2/3rds of. The Good: A short story that bridges the gap between Changes and Ghost Story. The Bad: Only two of the stories focus on characters other than Harry. I like the fact that I now have the Dresden stories from several different books all in one place. But I was disappointed that the stories didn't focus more on the supporting cast of the Dresden Files. I had really been expecting stories featuring Murphy, Thomas, Molly, Michael, the Alphas, Kincad and/or the Archive and Marcone so I was left somewhat annoyed.

While not as interesting as the book the short stories are still a much for any Dresden fan. I love how the short stories gives us the chance to see more of Dresden's life especially when it's from a different perspective then the novels and buying one book is so much better than trying to buying several when I'm only interested in these ones.

a must have

this needs to be a requirement for anyone that loves the Dresdenverse, because the short stories included in this collection explain several personal interactions that occurred in the primary books, and the new story of what occurs AFTER the end of Changes is just fantastic!
