Poor Dog

Doug Ebert, a jazz bassist/composer based in San Francisco, CA, is pleased to announce the release of his second self-produced album, quot;Poor Dogquot;.  This new album features an exciting Bay Area lineup of Terrence Brewer on guitar, Gerry Grosz on vibraphone and Rob Rhodes on the drums.  Besides anchoring the quartet on the bass, Doug wrote and arranged all of the music on the album.  His diverse influences of jazz, classical, rock and world music are evident in the original program; from the odd-metered opener quot;Epiphanyquot;, to the up-tempo swing/latin quot;Gratefulquot;, to the R&B inspired title track, the music carries the listener along an exciting journey that never stagnates. .
