I bought this soda because I wanted to make my own laundry detergent. Regular laundry detergent leaves residue on my clothes which gave me horrible skin rashes and the most godawful itching. So I went online looking for a solution, and read about a woman who had the same problem, and now makes her own laundry detergent. Ingredients are: 3 cups Nellie's All Natural Soda, 3 cups Borax, and a grated bar of unscented Castille soap, mixed together and stored in airtight container. I mixed up a batch of her recipe and it works great! No more rash! No more itching!
