Scary Stories Collection

Although the original illustrations were replaced unnecessarily; the stories are the same. I got this set for my grand daughter, who loves reading my original set with me so much, that I couldn't resist buying them for her.

This does NOT contain Stephen Gammell's artwork!

Buyer beware! The original amazing artwork by Stephen Gammell is not present in this new volume. All of his illustrations have been replaced with tamer more "child friendly" pictures. The illustrations were the chief reason I purchased this collection from my childhood and I am so deeply disappointed that it has been neutered in the name of modernization and pop culture.
