Words and simple to use

Had mice in the back seat of my car and put some of these in a small dish. They loved them and also did not come back again-so I think it worked to get rid of them. I also used them in the furnace around the bottom as they got in there too. Again, they ate some of them and did not return again.

Had to add some flavor for picky rats!

RatX Rodent Control Pellets are clean and easy to use. The rats would not eat them unless I mixed them with a touch of beef tallow or some kind of fat, or mixed in a little peanut butter. Maybe we just have picky rats. It did not seem to harm the effectiveness of the pellets but is not recommended, according to the instructions on the website. Using a small amount of fats/peanut butter does not cause the pellets to swell but they do dissolve in water. Don't add anything that "opens the pores" and you should be fine. Adding a little powdered seasoning like chicken bouillon should work as well. First I put some pellets on a tray with other yummy food to get them used to eating the pellets. Then I made small packets of yummy fat- mixed pellets using sandwich bags and bread ties -(placed a generous portion in a sandwich bag corner then tied with a bread tie and trimmed the excess-making fat triangle treats). Then threw several "treat bags" underneath the house, along with a well placed bucket of water-so the rats did not need to chew into water pipes for a drink of water.... and then sealed the crawlspace closed. It seemed to work and I never smelled any dead rat fumes wafting into the house. This was in December so that may have helped . There was no more rat activity after a few days. The pellets seem a bit pricey but people will stretch their dollars to get rid of rodents! I like that these pellets are safe to handle and will not harm any of your non-rodent pets or wildlife. I did wear gloves when handling the pellets to fill the bags but that was to keep my scent off of them. The pellets are made of non-poisonous ingredients and degrade naturally in soil. They will swell and dissolve if they get wet so do not drop them near wet ground. I read in the YouTube comments that each rat needs to eat around 15 pellets before it is effective-so the pellets need to taste yummy enough for a gorge session. Some people had success without treating the pellets for taste but we did not. Beef tallow, thick Ranch dressing, peanut butter or a dusting of chicken bouillon all worked well for us. Best of luck and success on your ratting adventures.
