Ultra Chewy Beef Shin Bone Dog Chew

long story short, someone got our new puppy a real bone for christmas and we needed 2 more for the other dogs. can't share one bone between 3 dogs lol. picked up 2 of these on the way home. i wasn't too keen on paying $5 each on them, but they have lasted a really long time. weeks after they have eaten all the meat off, they are still gnawing on them. they are doing a much better job at cleaning their teeth than the dentastix (which used to do better until they changed them). i was worried about them leaving a greasy mess on the floor, but that didn't happen, so i was very pleasantly surprised there and with how long they have lasted. as with any toy/treat, WATCH YOUR DOG. there are smaller knuckle bones on this that come off. they are a little smaller than a golf ball. i waited for them to get them off and tossed them in the trash once they had the meat off of them. once they get too small, i will take them away and replace them. they gradually eat the bone down. the longer one was lost to the couch for a week or so, but makes for a good comparison. if your dog is gradually wearing them down, that's fine, but if they are cracking big chunks of bone off, take it away so they don't choke or eat big splinters

These bones are great if you have a heavy chewer. One of my dogs is a pit bull/lab mix and likes to chew. This will last her a few days to a few weeks. She loves them!!
