Glauberite is popular among collectors for its distinctive crystal shapes and pseudomorphic forms.

Glauberite itself is in fact a rare and unstable mineral, but its remnants andcastingsare much more prevalent.

The remaining pseudomorph over the Glauberite can be colorless, beige, yellow, or gray.

Glauberiteis amonoclinicsodiumcalciumsulfate mineral.Glauberite often forms in continental and marine evaporite deposits, but may also form fromhydrothermaldeposits, asmineral sublimatesdeposited nearfumaroles, inamygdulesinbasalt, and innitratedeposits in arid climates.
