Exact fit. Identical to OEM battery. Save $45

I had ordered this for a Troy Bilt 8KW-13.5KW Surge generator (same as Elite Briggs and Stratton 8000). It is an exact fit Down to the the posts. Although the 2 day shipping took the better part of 10 days, when the batter did finally arrive, it was an exact fit. The battery was charged to 12.87 volts. Fully functional with the charging system and easily turned the generator engine over. Setting the old OEM battery and this battery next to each other, I cant tell the difference other than about $45 difference in price that I saved getting this battery. There is new terminal hardware in the box.

Provides starter power

It's a battery. The biggest problem is taking the gas tank off my generator to access the four bolts holding the battery box - what a PITA! The generator has a built-in trickle charger so it should stay ready for action. Generator starts with one pull so it was not a big deal but it makes it easier for my wife to start it when I am not around.
