Great camera package
This dash cam package is worth every penny. One of the highest rated, if not the highest rated, on Amazon. I've used 3 other dash cams in the past: Apeman, Yada, Nextbase… This Rover camera is hands down the best. Install and setup took no time at all. Maybe it helps that's I've installed several cams before so I knew exactly what to do. I managed to conceal all the wiring from front to back in my trim and headliner in my 2015 Ford Escape. The rear facing camera is great to have. Time will tell how the double sided tape holds up in the heat, the window cling to keep the tape off the windshield is a nice touch. The front facing camera has a much better picture than any of the other brands I've used. And while Rove recommends using the tape to attach to the windshield, I very much prefer the suction cup. Being able to download over WiFi through the app is so much easier than removing that tiny SD card and plugging into a computer. Narrowing down which clip you want?… that's not always easy. But a 3 minute 4K clip from the front camera is about 800mb and transfers in less than a minute. I've had no problems with the unit or the app. Rover sells a filter to reduce the glare on the windshield, kind of wonder why that's not just built it… bottom line: you won't be disappointed. I may buy another unit to replace the camera in another car.
