The large wing nuts that hold the clamp together were not internally threaded well enough to grab the two bolts coming out of the clamp. BAD QUALITY- Customer is the final inspector. The clamp halves were good quality but the wing nuts would not hold them together. I had another kit for inverted flare took the wing nuts from it to make this unit work. The die for 3/16" bubble flare screwed onto the end of the threaded plunger that forces the screw down. I wanted to make a bubble flare big enough that the flare would keep a tube nut on the 3/16" steel tube but this kit by itself would not do the job. I had a cone shaped plunger from my inverted flare kit and alternated using it with the "bubble flare" attachment that screws onto the end of the plunger for this kit. That got the flare to a diameter that would not let the tube nut slip off over the "bubble flare". Another 5-10 mm of length on the clamp bolts would be nice. All the pieces had a nice chrome finish. The missing threads in the wingnuts made the wingnuts junk.
