MAMA Pho Bo Rice Noodle Soup Bowl with Artificial Beef Flavor, 2.29 oz, Single pack

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much when I ordered these, so I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious these really are. The flavoring packets provided are sufficient as is with no amendments. However, here's how I've been preparing mine: I break the noodles down a little bit shorter, put them into a slightly smaller ceramic bowl. I add the spice packets, a couple tsp of minced garlic and chili garlic paste. Then I put it under my Keurig machine and run 10 oz of hot water into the bowl and cover it immediately with a lid. After the noodles soften I add some cilantro, fried shredded carrots, and green onions. So delicious! Definitely keeping these stocked in the pantry. As to other people's reviews: Re catching fire in the microwave, I'm not sure about that because I didn't use a microwave, I used hot water from a Keurig and the noodles expanded and softened perfectly. Seems like you would have to cook it a LONG time for it to catch fire. Re being too spicy, yes there is some spice, but I added come chili garlic sauce and it was still quite mild by my standards. Definitely NOT tasteless, though there is a small amount of oil in one sauce packet, but not overwhelming. Someone mentioned it made their house stink, I didn't have that issue. The aroma was actually quite mild.
