Solid and look good. I would buy again.
Look great on the truck. Mounting brackets are heavy duty and with three brackets (GMC version) on each bar make them very sturdy. Installation was tougher than I thought it would be, but not because of the product. On a Chevy/GMC you have to remove the bolts that hold the body to the frame and those were very hard to get out. But that's the way GM mounts them and every brand I looked at would require removing and reusing the same bolts. Placed my order on a Friday and they shipped the following Tuesday. Received that Thursday so only six days from order to received. Received in good condition so I'm happy.

Love the Bars - I
Love the Bars - I agree the installation instructions could have been better but since I knew that before I purchased them, I was prepared to be challenged. Still only took a couple of hours to install, so not too bad. They are very eye catching and with the 4" width it makes for good footing when in use.

Bars were boutht b/c I was sick and tired of lifting my kids into my truck. Work, fit and look great on my Silverado 1500. They barely stick out from the side of the truck, and are low enough to be a functioning step for my kids. And the pad is a nice size for their little feet. Bars received in shipping without damage. Instruction were as others noted, pretty useless. The pictures in the directions look like they have been photocopied about 1000 times, and we couldnt tell which bracket was for which side. Took about 1/2 hour to figure out the first side, about 10 minutes to complete the second side. Hint: the middle bracket and the rear bracket look the same, the front bracket looks like it faces the opposite direction. That will become obvious if the bar doesnt seem to be fitting right. Overall very pleased with the bars.
