This pump dispenser was exactly what I was looking for. It has got some weight to it, so it doesn't topple over when displayed on the counter, but still light enough to hold. I could also use it as a lotion dispenser but purchased it for soap dispensing---one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was secured. It was wrapped in bubble wrap. The texture is smooth but heavy. Nice ceramic soap dispenser. There is no scent. Unless you put a soap that has scent. The pump works well. It It simply but very beautiful.
