New 12-volt PMDD (Permanent Magnet Direct Drive) starter motor for the 1984-1998 Yamaha Virago series V-twin cruiser motorcycles equipped with Mitsuba SM13-series starting systems. Features clockwise (CW) rotation with 31-spline shaft drive and 4-brush long-shaft design for reliable starting of the 696cc, 749cc, and 1063cc V-twin engines. O-ring sealed construction with 47.9mm index ring at drive end. Dual 6.2mm unthreaded mounting ear holes for direct bolt-on fitment. Covers XV1000, XV1100, XV1100SP Special, XV700, and XV750 Virago models.
