I bought two pair in different colors and neither are as deep in color as shown in their pictures. They are still very beautiful because of the design tho. If you're going to buy for your birthstone (as I did with the sapphire) fine, but if you're buying just to buy, I'd recommend a darker stone so you can see it better.
