Please take a look at the window image above (bottom image on left hand side) This shows the dimensions you need to take in picture format. The key points to note are: 1) Measure the width and height of your window INCLUDING the flat static frame where you will mount the Flat Cat. 2) Make sure that the flat static frame is at least ¾ inch wide / deep on all 4 sides. 3) When selecting the size you require, make sure that you only select screens which are within ½ inch (more or less) of both your width and height dimension. Again, if in doubt please message us and we can advise on the best size to purchase. 4) If you don’t see the size you require we can do a custom made screen for you of any size, just search our other listings or message us for assistance, we are always happy to help.
Flat Cats are a lightweight and effective method of allowing fresh air into your room while stopping your cat from falling out of a window by slipping on the window ledge, and possibly causing injury.
The Flat Cat mesh is pvc coated fibreglass netting, similar to that used in mosquito netting. Flat Cats are sized to suit most standard sized windows with a tailored border for extra strength.

How does that Flat Cat attach to the window frame? No need to drill holes into your window frames! - The Flat Cat itself has a 2-inch border of hook and loop fixings machined to the mesh and going all the way around. The Flat Cat attaches to the window frame by using corresponding self-adhesive fixings of ¾ inch width. Each Flat Cat is over supplied with fixings so you will always have some spares. The Flat Cat is held on the window through the pushing together of the hook and loop fixings. Once fitted the Flat Cat can be applied and removed in seconds whenever you need it. Flat Cats are suitable for either wood or UPVC window frames.
