I’m not the kind of person who is into hot sauces that immediately set your mouth on fire and burn, make you start sweating like you’re in a Sauna. Call me chicken, I can take it. LOL. I love hot sauce that has a nice tingle, but has a nice flavor to go with it. Texas Pete is that hot sauce for me. It’s delicious. When I have french fries I like to put some ketchup in a little bowl (or make a little bowl using aluminum foil, and adding some Texas Pete to give it some zing. Love it. I will warn you that if you keep it around for a long period, the color changes from red to a reddish gray and it becomes hotter.🤣🤣🤣

I've been "friends" with Texas Pete for a long time (btw: it's made in N. Carolina). There is just enough heat in "pete" to give my food a kick, but not overdue it. Price is not bad and I always purchase the 24oz bottle. If you like a little heat w/o frying your senses, then this is the sauce for you.
