Easy to put together. Having two people helped for stabilizing the pieces, but I think one person could manage on own. I find it to be stable on a pile carpet, so am sure it will be so on a hard floor. White does have a fresh paint smell, and although lingering, it isn't too offensive to me and I think I am very sensitive to smells. Holds a flat screen tv and [some of] my art supplies. I like the height as It is tall enough that I can view the tv screen sitting or standing when painting, and easily watch Zoom or YouTube instruction. Overall I am pleased.
