They came with a super thick layer of foam for the bottom and they still have more of a solid soul like plastic or rubber on the bottom I ordered a size up because I have wide feet and I wish I did not because they broke in fast and now they slip off my feet if I walk too fast so they fit good for like the first day until they got loose on me
