First time I ever tried a hat stretcher had some older fitted hats that didn't fit quite as good just sprayed the brim got it wet with the stretcher in tightened it to expand, stretched it a little more the next day and it worked perfect. it is made very well and was very pleased with the quality I would definitely recommend this,
