I bought this case for my new iPad Air 11, thinking it looked close to being an Otterbox but a third of the price. When it arrived, I was surprised how sturdy it actually was. The instructions aren't exactly clearly written (big surprise there) with a small note stuck inside the case that said, "Push the 2 parts to far right first". I have no idea what that meant. The iPad went into the case well and put it back together. Overall, this case looks as rugged as the Otterbox. I am really happy with my purchase. It did come with two clips that you attach so a carry strap could but put on and taken off when needed. I wasn't going to use a 'strap' but thinking about it, I think it could be very helpful. I go to garage and estate sales every week and will use the iPad to look up items. Because of its size I thought it might get in the way but the strap will make it easy for me to sling it around to my back when I'm not needing it. I think it will work out just fine. The kick stand/handle is also going to be very useful when putting it on a desktop or other flat surface, I was concerned it might wear out after time but it seems it is very well made. Also the clear screen that is part of the case work well and I haven't had an issue yet. The instructions did say that if a tempered glass screen has been put on the iPad before buying this case, a touch issue might be a problem and they suggest removing their clear plastic if that is the case. I hadn't bought the tempered glass 'yet' but now this ROISKIN HD protector has saved me more money with that feature. Overall, I think this is an outstanding alternative to the very durable Otterbox and highly recommend it.
