I picked up this Equate fiber powder because Metamucil is just too pricey for something I take every day. It's unflavored, which I actually prefer, no fake orange taste, just stir it into coffee or water and you barely notice it. Mixes fine if you drink it fast; let it sit and it turns into a weird jelly. The 29 oz tub lasts forever, but mine didn't come with a scoop, so grab a tablespoon. Works exactly the same as the name brand for keeping things regular. Nothing fancy, but it does the job for half the cost.

Works like the Meta brand but much lower cost!

This works as well as Metamucil but much less expensive! I use the unflavored with sugar so it tastes a little like breakfast cereal or unflavored oatmeal. It does tend to gel up a little quicker than Metamucil so make sure you stir it into VERY cold water! That gives you time to mix it and drink it down before it gels .

This item I use for a number of different things. if I want my homemade bread to hold more water, I put in a 18 teaspoon per loaf and it really helps hydrate the dough and hold its shape. other people in the family will mix it with water or a drink and you know what they take it for. yeah, it really works in that area too. 🙂
