a great mat that minimizes sink.

This mat is made of polycarbonate instead of the regular plastic. It is much harder and will not bend as easily. Compared to a mat I had from Costco, this mat will not create sink spots whenever you sit on your chair for a long time, making it easier to move around. I have 1/2" carpet and it is great for those who wants to spend the extra money to get more out of their mat.

Very pleased, worth the cost for polycarbonate

I like the fact that this came in one rolled sheet, not folded in half. The previous one was folded in half ant the wheels on my chair were always catching it. With this mat I can roll all over without the seam down the middle. I also bought the largest one they made, This makes a difference as well I paid about twice the price for this mat, but Polycarbonate, which is also used in some bullet - resistant glass, should be much stronger than the vinyl ones I've had to replace every couple of years. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN OPENING IT UP!!! The mat is under a lot of tension and it will spring back to flat very quickly. You don't want to get hit with it in the face or eyes. The instructions recommend two people open it and they are RIGHT.
