Linon Swag High Bar Stool, Brown, 30 inch Seat Height

We purchased these chairs for our kitchen bar...which opens up to the great room. They are nice, well made, durable...look nice. Reasons why we don't give them five stars...a little hard to put together. All the materials to put the chair together are included but we needed a couple extra tools. Some of the holes attaching the chair back to the cushion are a little hard to reach with the wrench they give you...and one of the holes is so close to a bar that supports the cushion that we needed needle-nose pliers to be able to grab the nut. The nuts only thread so far as well, just using fingers...need a stronger wrench/pliers, or again, the needle-nose pliers...to get the screw to completely thread the nut and tighten completely. Also...the screws that attach the circular support to the legs just fit into the holes...meaning you have to get them in the hole exactly or they won't start to thread. Just something that made it take a bit longer...not a huge deal because all the screws did fit. The other reason we didn't give it 5 stars is the back of the chair...at the top where the ornate design is welded to those two points. In the front there's a little decorative cover that hides the connection point...but in the back there's nothing. The back of the chair is facing our great room...it is a bar chair after all...not a dining chair that may face a wall. It just looks incomplete...you can see the welds instead of another decorative cover hiding it all. It's not a huge deal for us...the chairs are dark...and we have a darker color scheme in our home so it's okay/hard to notice...but someone that has a more vibrant, bright color scheme may find this feature more noticeable and it wouldn't fit a more ""elegant"" look. Just a FYI...picture doesn't show the back of the chair. Of course if you do have a more vibrant, brighter color scheme, you may not choose these chairs anyway. Working together though, wife and I put together 4 chairs in about an hour...not too rough.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the chair - especially for the price. I bought 4 chairs and the first 3 went together quickly and with no problems. The 4th chair was missing the nuts so I haven't put it together yet.
