This heating pad gets warm enough for our outdoor kitty. We have it on the highest setting for his outdoor cat house on our porch. It gets much warmer than other pet heating pads I have tried in the past. It can be set to stay on constantly, but check it when you go out to feed your pet. For some reason it kicked off after a few days. Not sure if the heating pad turns off eventually or if a person or pet hit the button. Our cat seems to be happy with it.
