Thin walls, no hole, matte (painted?) finish
The planter has very thin walls, and, as others have noted, no drainage hole. The finish is matte and almost looks like it was painted rather than fired. I purchased this to serve as a decorative container for an 8" plastic pot and not for direct planting. Hence, it will serve the purpose well.
